At the exit of Wissant, going toward Calais, we find Strouanne Beach which is the continuation of Grande Plage and extends to Cape Blanc Nez. This vast sand beach is totally wild and offers a great diversity of landscapes. To the west we have a great view of Cape Gris Nez and little by little we see the cliffs to the east getting closer to Cape Blanc. However, swimming is prohibited. We come here to sunbathe and walk on the beach.
To get here, take highway D940 toward Calais. After 2.5 kilometers take the road that curves to the left (a sign indicates Strouanne). We find a little parking lot on the right. Then, continue by food on the one-way street (in the wrong direction). The beach is found after 500 meters.
