Our opinion on the South Beach
Montalivetles Bains’ South Beach is located at the entrance of the city and extends between the Helio-Marine centre (nudist beach) and the downtown beach. This beach is family orientated with a surf school. It has a first-aid station with toilet facilities. Off-season, you can even practice yachting (see photos). The beach on the left is less touristic and it can be very dangerous (unsupervised - strong currents).
This beach is at the end of Tassigny Boulevard after the camping cars area.

This largebeach is south of Montalivet, close to the city centre. If you continue to the left, you reach the Helio-Marine centre of Montalivet (naturist centre) and a beach that becomes naturist.
In this area,the dune area is well developed.
There are two lifeguard stations on the beach (blue) and toilets on the left.
This aerial viewshows the extent of this South Beach. In the centre of the photo we can see Montalivet’s HMC (nudist camp).
On the leftof this beach, there is an area for camping cars.
