The Nonnes beach of Meschers sur Gironde is one of the most pleasant beaches of the seaside station. This sand beach of the estuary of Gironde is crevassed between the cliffs of Meschers. There are several restaurants and cafes, a nautical center and a first-aid station. This beach is adapted to provide access for those with physical disabilities (accessible from the avenue des Nonnes with reserved parking places). The lush green environment makes this one of the most frequented beaches.
To arrive at this beach from the port of Meschers, take the avenue du Port followed by the rue de Paul Massy and then the avenue des Nonnes. There are multiple access points (some of which are by staircase).
