Prises Beach in Couarde sur Mer is located in the forest of Henry IV. This is the first beach on the left towards Ars-en-Ré. Dunes border the large sandy beach. One can practice sailing and stand-up paddle. This beach is not monitored.
To find Prises Beach, on leaving Couarde, take the direction of Ars then take the second exit on the left (the beach is indicated– Forest of Henri IV). Also accessible by bike path. A car park is available near the beach.
