Porte des Iles Beach in La Tranche sur Mer is located to the east of downtown near La Belle-Henriette. This sand beach bordered by dunes has a lifeguard during the summer (we also find toilets near the first-aid station). The swimming zone is located to the left of avenue de la Porte des Iles. The right side is reserved for water sports. The entrance of this beach is located at number 105.
A parking lot can be found behind the dunes. Note that dogs are not allowed on the beach since this is a lifeguarded zone (they are allowed outside this zone – Bouchots or Acacias beaches). We also find a snack bar on this beach.
