Our opinion on the Central Beach
Central Beach in La Tranche sur Mer is the beach located downtown. This big sand beach is situated between the Maupas pond and the pavillon de l'Aunis and there is a lifeguard in the summer. Animals are allowed on this beach outside of lifeguard areas. Near downtown, this beach is very lively and busy. We find several large free parking lots around this beach.

This beach is the closest to downtown and there are several parking lots nearby.
In the background we see the pier where we can reach the islands of Charente-Maritime.
