Aiguillon sur Mer marks the entrance into the department of Vendée. Recognised for its nature reserve of the Baie de l'Aiguillon which is integrated into the Marais Poitevin, its port, whose mooring is made on wooden beams, is well worth a look. As for the beaches of Aiguillon sur Mer, the main and most frequented site is the sea-water lake with its beaches located in the city centre next to the port and supervised in the summer season.
