Our opinion on the Port d'Albret Beach
The beach of the marine lake of Port d'Albret is the main attraction of Soustons. Very popular with families with children for its safe swimming area (also a lifeguard station in the summer season), you can practice many activities (pedal boats, sailing, windsurfing ...). The water temperature is more pleasant than the ocean’s (generally, at least three degrees warmer!). There are some nearby restaurants and picnic tables in the shade of the pine forest.
Access to this beach is by following the signs for the marine lake from Avenue de la Petre. There is a free parking.

The beach and the lake’s water sports centre are located next to a camping-car area.
