Bordered by an emerald forest and a marine lake, the small seaside destination of Hossegor in France is a haven of peace well known by surfers and is the capital of surf in Europe.

The city has a rich heritage site that we can discover across several circuits in the city and find several architectural treasures and forests. We can occasionally appreciate its famous gulf dating to 1930 and the seafront. A long promenade one kilometer long is located along the beach and welcomes several activities during the summer, while also proposing terraces where we can discover the local gastronomy. Among things to do we can participate in tournaments, in corridas and appreciate Landes traditions. The harbor is also a great place to observe the boats and buy fish and seafood from the first catch of the day before walking along the canal.

The beaches of Hossegor are divided into lifeguarded swimming and sports zones. Centrale, Nord or the more calm Blanche Beach which are located on the shores of the lake, are sure to satisfy tourists.

We can equally visit the beaches of Capbreton (a few kilometers to the south) which offer great diversity. To the north are the beaches of Seignosse where we find an aquatic park on the seafront. More to the south is Biarritz where we can discover the French Basque Coast, located only 40 minutes away by car.
