Our opinion on the Marine Lake Beach
Marine Lake Beach in Vieux Boucau extends near downtown across from the little Ile de Port d'Albret and the dunes of Soustons. The environment here is very agreeable and swimming is secure. Thanks to a dam, this lake's water level is consistent during low tide. It is very appreciated by families with children. The temperature of the water is usually 3-4 degrees Celsius more than that of the ocean.
There is a small parking lot near avenue des Pecheurs as well as a few places near the allee des Lamaneurs.

Located downtown, this lake is loved by families as swimming is secure. A dam allows the water's level to stay the same during low tide.
From this beach, we have a view of town on the right.
Across, is a small island (left in photo) and across is a view of the dunes of Soustons and Vieux Boucau.
We are at the entrance of the lake, near the ocean. The beach is behind us (the beach in the photo is a continuation of the ocean beach downtown.
