Our opinion on the Point du Jour Beach
The Point du Jour beach of Merville-Franceville is east of the city center. The supervised area is at the edge of several campsites on the seafront. The public accesses are at the limit with Merville, away from the monitored area.
To access these beaches, take the D514 towards Cabourg. After the different campings, there are two parkings on the left.

We are at the exit of Merville-Franceville at the limit with the beach of Hôme Merville. This area is bordered by a few villas and there is an area with several campings on the seafront (this is where the first aid station is).
This sandy beach extends to infinity. Nearby there is the beach of the Dunes of Varaville and you can even see Cabourg on a clear day.
East of the city, there are two parkings that gives access to this beach (however the areas are not monitored).
