La Faute sur Mer’s Naturist Beach of Arçay Point is located south of city centre at the end of the peninsula. This is the largest naturist beach in Vendée (tolerated by a bylaw). It extends for over several kilometres from the end of Barriques Beach to Arçay Point. At the edge, there is the nature reserve that is not open to the public. In the end, you can see the Ile de Ré (St Martin de Ré and La Flotte en Ré).
Access to this beach is from Barriques Beach. You must take the left following "Voie sans issue" (dead-end) and continue on the forest path. Access is on the right by a path that leads directly to the beach. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the beach from Barriques Beach.
