Levant Beach in La Grande Motte is the easternmost beach in the seaside destination. It is accessible from the promenade on the seafront (pedestrian – it starts near the casino) or from avenue du General Leclerc. This sand beach is far from cars. From the thalassotherapy center going toward Grau du Roi, the beach becomes more wild with a few dunes. The part closest to the harbor is more animated with several businesses. This beach is handicap accessible and a lifeguard is available near the thalassotherapy center.

Most of the parking lots are paying. We have only found three free parking lots (Place Paul Valery, Place St-Exupéry and Place des Cosmonautes).

Levant beach in La Grande Motte in France

This public sand beach is located to the east of La Grande Motte and extends to place Diana to the canal of the pond Ponant which marks the border with the beaches of Grau du Roi and of Gard.

We are on the last beach of La Grande Motte. We are able to see Grau du Roi.

Levant and Point Zéro beaches - La Grande Motte

The atmosphere becomes quickly wild when we go further from place Diana, just after the leisure center for children (3 to 11 years).
