Our opinion on the Echirolles Beach
Echirolles Beach in La Grande Motte is located to the west of the neighborhood Couchant going toward Carnon. Bordered by dunes, the environment is very wild for this large sand beach, but it is like the other beaches in La Grande Motte: very busy in the summer. Near access number 40, we find a first-aid station and showers. Toilets are only available near the alley de l'Iliade (after access 30) or near access 50.
This beach is accessible by car thanks to two parking lots. One is near the vacation center in the alley des Alizes and the other is near the roundabout leading toward the club. We can equally get there from the promenade des Dunes. Follow access number 40.
Note that we fine a hut in the summer with a restaurant and mattress rental and paddle boats.

To the west of La Grande Motte, in the neighborhood Portes du Couchant, is this big sand beach. Here we can see the entrance.
A big stretch of sand toward the harbor of La Grande Motte. To the right are dunes... the setting is quite nice.
Further off is Carnon-Plage and to the right of this photo is the dune area.
