Couchant Beach in La Grande Motte is located in the neighborhood with the same name to the west of downtown and the harbor. The more lively zone is found around the boutiques of Couchant (at the end of avenue du Couchant or the alley du Marechal Juin – pedestrian zone) with several shops. We also find in this part of the beach a first-aid station, handicap access, and beach volleyball courts. This neighborhood is very residential with many buildings, often reserved for seasonal renting. We also find a carousel for children (paying).
