Rive Gauche Beach in Grau du Roi extends from the canal Rhone à Sète to the Seaquarium that borders Port-Camargue. Three nice sandy coves are available with an embankment on the first two which breaks up the waves when there is wind. The environment of the third cove is very wild with a few dunes and pine trees and grass in the background. We find a few snack bars and private beaches as well as a first-aid station open during the summer (near the edge of the second cove) on Mouettes Beach.

Note that we find the Palais de la Mer and the Seaquarium near this beach (center of the third cove). We can also join up with the beaches of Port-Camargue by a nice pedestrian walk on the seafront.

We are at the beginning of Rive Gauche Beach and we are looking towards Port-Camargue.

Along this sandy beach is nice pedestrian walk. We ar near the canal. In this zone we have a few shops and buildings. Going further, the environment becomes greener.

From this beach, we can see the pyramids of Grande Motte.

Going further from downtown Grau du Roi, the environment becomes more wild. We are near the Seaquarium.

In the background, we start to see the buildings of Port-Camargue. Between Grau du Roi and Port-Camargue, this beach becomes more wild and has mini dunes.
