Our opinion on the Central Beach
Central Beach in Cavalaire sur Mer extends along avenue Saint Raphael in the harbor area. This sand beach is divided into three zones – each separated by dams, about 500 meters of sand. Next to the harbor we find a lifeguard station that is open in the summer. Even if the beach is narrow, it is very busy with families with children since the water is shallow here. The general view of the bay is very nice. We find several private beaches with restaurants. The different zones are accessible by stairs.
To get to this beach, follow directions for the “Port de Cavalaire”. The beach is on the left and there is some parking nearby.

Photos of the Central Beach
We are near downtown in Cavalaire sur Mer, next to the harbor. We find a first aid station and a nautical base in this area. A very busy zone in the summer.
Along this beach is a nice promenade that allows us to join downtown or the different beaches to the east.
We find many private beaches near downtown, with restaurants and mattress rentals.
In the middle of this beach we find a kids' club (left of photo).
We are at the edge of this beach. More to the east we find three zones that extend to La Croix Valmer's beach.
