In the area of Landes de Pen-Bé in Assérac, there are several large sandy coves with a view of the bay of Pen-Bé. Surrounded by high cliffs, the place is remarkable and offers an untamed and authentic side. It reminds us of the Pénestin beaches with its high cliffs.
To get to these coves from Assérac, take the D82 towards Pénestin. Follow the departmental road for 3.5 km then take the turning on the left the D282 towards Pen-Bé. After 1 km, take the road on the right in direction of the campsite of the Etoile de Mer. After the campsite, take the left, and then the first on the right. There is parking at the end of the road. The coves are accessible by small trails.
