The beach of the bay of Pen-Bé in Assérac is located in the traict (closed bay subjected to the tides) of the same name. Because of a muddy soil and a large presence of oyster and mussel farms, swimming is not recommended. It is rather a place where you come to walk between the moors of Pen-Bé in the middle of the oyster farms. The coastal trail makes it possible to discover this extraordinary site.
To reach this beach from the centre of Assérac, take the D82 for 3 km in the direction of Pénestin then take the left in the direction of Pen Bé (D282). At the stop sign, go straight ahead. Parking is available on arrival in the bay.
