Our opinion on the Confessionnaux Beach
The beach of the cliff of the Confessionnaux stretches between the west of Lion-sur-Mer and the entrance of Luc-sur-Mer. This wild beach is bordered by the cliff of the Confessionnaux (be careful prohibition to approach within 10 meters of the cliff). At high tide, the beach can be inexistent. The environment is very pleasant for those who love nature and calm however swimming is not monitored.
To get to this beach, take the direction of Luc sur Mer by the department road. At the exit of the city, there are several access paths on the right.

We are at the level of the cliffs of Confessionnaux at Lion sur Mer (visible on the right of this picture). The beach is not ideal for swimming (reduced to a minimum at high tide-prohibition to approach cliffs within 10 meters) but it is wanted for the collection of shells.
In certain areas, there are big rocks directly on the beach (we are at the beginning of the cliffs, near a campsite).
The area at the limit between the city center and the cliffs is usable during summer to swim.
There are several access paths to this beach (perpendicular to the D514).
