The beach of the Clos du Rhône in Saintes Maries de la Meris located west of the city centre, at the mouth of the Petit Rhône and bordering a campsite. Several sandy coves, well protected by dikes, are available on this beach. Swimming is perfect with young children (but please note that there is no first-aid station and no supervision). This is the last beach of the Saintes; behind the Petit Rhône, we reach the beach of the Espiquette of Port Camargue (only accessible by car bypassing the Rhône).
To get to this beach from the city centre of Saintes Maries de la Mer, you must follow the D38 (Riquette Aubanel Avenue), and then turn left towards Clos du Rhône. There are several car parks.
