Beauduc beach in Camargue is one of the last completely wild beaches in France. Located 11 km from Salin de Giraud, it's difficult to access. We find a vast stretch of sand that travels over several kilometers and is bordered by ponds (watch out for mosquitos...).
Beauduc has long been a giant wild campground, but the rules have gotten more strict. From the point of Sablon (direction Beauduc lighthouse), motor vehicles are now prohibited and only camping is allowed in a certain area.
Beauduc is equally one of the most reputed kitesurfing areas due to high wind.
To get to this beach from the center of Salin de Giraud, take the road toward Belugue. Follow the paved road for several kilometers then arrive to an area where the road is in bad shape (drive slowly on the 6.6 km route – pay attention to the limited width near the Tourvieille ruins). After a 45 minute drive you'll arrive at the beach's parking lot.
