Longeville sur Mer’s Conches Beach is the largest beach of the town. Located in the village of Conches, you reach the main part of the beach by the Avenue du Docteur Joussemet. In season, this area is supervised (access No. 13).
Bordered by towering dunes, the beach quickly becomes untamed. Note that, in the north, there are several campsites.
Going south, the beach changes name and is named Bud beach. This area is one of the most famous surf spots in the Vendée (often compared to the best spots on the Basque coast and the Landes). It lies between accesses 14 and 16 (access by the Chemin de Bud but it is impossible to park, it is advisable to park at the parking at access 13 then walk south for about 600 meters).
