Our opinion on the Caruchettu Beach
Caruchettu Beach in Ile Rousse is in keeping with Napoleon Beach in the north. There are 300 meters of fine sand with rocks on the right and small coves in the north (below the campsite). The left part is the most popular because there is a car park nearby. The environment is less urban and more peaceful further to the right. There is an aid station in summer.
To get to the beach from the town centre, take Savelli Boulevard. At the end of Napoleon beach, turn left and go over the level crossing. You can access the car park of this beach.

This white sandy beach is located just after Napoleon beach, and offers a beautiful view of the old city of Ile Rousse and La Pietra peninsula.
You can see the lighthouse and the Genoese tower of Pietra peninsula from this beach. Swimming is gently sloping and well sheltered from the swell.
The northern end of this beach is rockier. It is also quieter although it is near a campsite.
This is a beautiful view of the bay of Ile Rousse.
There are several private beaches with restaurants. The mat for disabled people to move on this beach is on the left on this picture.
