The Boisvinet beach in Jard sur Mer is located near the port and stretches to the town of Saint Vincent sur Jard. It is the only supervised beach in the centre of the seaside resort, it is also equipped to welcome people with reduced mobility (provision of a tiralo). Going east, the beach quickly becomes untamed and uncrowded (there is also an area for dinghies and windsurfers - after this area the beach often bears the name of Grand Boisvinet). Above the cliffs, at rue Charcot, there is a picnic area.
There are several accesses to this beach. The first is located opposite the port on the rue des Sables d'Or. The second is at the far end of the Rue du Commandant Charcot.
