To the west of the port of Jard sur Mer is the Pé du Canon beach. Separated in two points, it is made up of sand and pebbles. At low tide, there are many rocks left discovered (this area becomes more and more rocky going west) making swimming difficult but ideal for shore fishing. It is never crowded even in the summer season, we find much better in Jard sur Mer (La Mine Beach or Boisvinet Beach).
The main access is via the port (west side). There is ample free parking. There is a second access to the rue des Gats Greneaux (but no parking).
