Douane Beach is found on the coastal path near the Taillat Peninsula, leaning on the point of Douane. On the border of the beach, we find the Douanes house (built under Napoleon the 1st). The white sand is some of the most beautiful along the French Riviera and the panorama of the Taillat Cape is grandiose. We find some large rocks as well. To discover this beach, you need to go to Escalet Beach where we find a parking lot (paid in season except for the north lot). Then take the path on the right which permits you to join Cape Taillat. The beach is located just before the cape in front of the house (about a 30 minute walk if you park in the southernmost lot – paid parking in season). Behind the cape, you'll find the Briande Beach which is equally as beautiful.
