Osani, a small village in the department of Corse-du-Sud, is located in the natural park of Corsica on the coast of the Gulf of Porto. Its long seaboard attracts many visitors and stretches from the north of Punta Nera to Caspiu Bay. Though the coast is beautiful, it is mostly wild and the rare beaches are covered in pebbles: Gradi, Cavone, Focaghia, Tuara (or Cala di Tara) and Gratelle, not to mention Caspiu Beach in the nearby town of Partinello.
The village is composed of several hamlets scattered in the countryside, on the slopes of Castellacciu. Curzu is one of the most interesting, with its old granite houses and the views of Gargalo and Elbo islands and their Genoese towers. Among the favourite tourist activities, boat rides, between Porto and Girolata for example then walks from the hamlet between sea and maquis. Tuara Beach is on the way, a break before moving between the red rocks to the Col de la Croix. Other rides to Vignola, Cape Seninu or Caspiu to discover the beautiful landscape in this corner of Corsica.
The small village of Girolata to the border with the Scandola reserve is only accessible by sea or through a mule track (1h45 on foot from the Col de la Croix). Beautifully restored, it is one of Girolata seaside attractions (many shops, restaurants and cafes).
