Cricqueboeuf is a very small village situated in the department of Calvados, in Basse-Normandie. It is famous for the beautiful church Saint-Martin that it houses, also named Chapelle aux Lierres and that dates from the 12th century. The municipality is in the middle of the fields, at the heart of a calm countryside and the half-timbered houses are all the charm of the place.
Among the things not to be missed, the 19th century wash-house and the vast beach of Cricqueboeuf which allows everyone to enjoy in peace and to indulge in many water sports. Note, however, that it is not supervised.
Several circuits were imagined in the village, the opportunity to walk there and to discover the Norman countryside and the very charming and preserved seaside.
We can also enjoy our trip to visit the Côte Fleurie and its seaside resorts whose reputation is second to none : Deauville la mondaine, Honfleur "la ville d’Art" or Le Havre, registered to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Côte d’Albâtre is also to be seen, if only for its cliffs of which the most famous are those of Etretat and of Tréport as well as the Pays d’Auge, authentic and welcoming.
