The beach of Staol in Santec (also nicknamed Roche beach) is a very long beach which is in line with that of Théven but with very different characteristics. Its surroundings are more wooded and, looking to the north, the se ais less shimmering, plus blue, and the colors more frank (yes, yes, when we have the sun in the back and the sea in front, it looks more blue). The surroundings are more friendly and, if the sanitary facilities are nonexistent, the town hall has installed picnic tables at certaine entrances and provided small parkings in front of each. Because this beach has at least 3 entries. Moreover, since July 2015, dogs are accepted on all the beaches of Santec, kept on a leash, is also required to leave no trace of their passage. If you want to be quiet, the place is a good pick.
To get to this beach from the center of Santec, take Kerbruzunec street for 900m then turn right on Staol street (accessible for people with reduced mobility accompanied). We also have access from Pêcheurs street from the city-center (800 meters).
