Dossen Beach in Santec - France

Our opinion on the Dossen Beach

The beach of Dossen is the biggest beach of Santec, the one that concentrates all the equipment the animations. The extent of the space discovered at low tide (over 1.5km) probably explains this,but not only. The setting is another reason : the island of Siec, on the right, but also the headlands and forest in the south, which border half of the shore and thanks finally to the turquoise blue of its waters. On the right, torwards the island of Siec, it is rather family and restaurants, the south is rather wild, and in the center it is rather young and fun. And sporty ! because regarding sport we have here all we can expect from a complete beach : kayaking, diving, windsurfing, paddleboarding, surfing, kitesurfing and sand yachting…it is one of the most famous spots of north Brittany. There are also at certain periods riders, sulkies…Not always easy to make everyone live together but there is room !

Moreover, since July 2015, dogs are accepted on all the beaches of Santec, kept on a leash, and also to leave no trace of their passage.

We can also enjoy the proximity of the island of Siec at low tide to go for a ride. It would seem that on the island, naturism is tolerated, as long as it remains moderate. But we do not notice it at low tide. Probably the adepts are waiting for high tide…
