Stella’s Sud Beach provides access to the neighbouring resort of Merlimont (1.2 km). This wide sandy beach offers a wilderness setting with the presence of dunes. However, swimming is not supervised. This area is somewhat reserved for water sports (jet ski for example in the summer season, there are also kite surfers who come from Merlimont) and sand yachting.
The beach is accessible by the Boulevard de la Mer (southern zone) with free parking. There is also a basketball court and a skate park.
Dogs are allowed on this beach (however they are not in Merlimont).

South side, Stella beach becomes completely untamed. In the distance, we can see Merlimont and its beach (about 1.2 km away).

In terms of access, there is a marina with sand yachts, jet ski, paddle boards for hire.

South beach again is beautiful & unspoiled though with not the amazing dunes that N beach offers. One can see buildings on the walk towards Merlimont. Worth it as there’s a little Restauant just before leaving the beach to go into town. Serves the usual Moules Frites etc.
On approach to Merlimont one can see further up the coast towards Berck-Plage & thé famous hospital that used to be used for « the cure » for TB patients. It’s been used in several films I’ve seen.
