Our opinion on the South Beach

At the end of boulevard de la Mer, we find Sud Beach in Hardelot. The continuation of Centrale Beach, only the closest area to the first-aid station is lifeguarded in the summer. Going toward the south (end of boulevard de la Mer, not that we find access to the beach from a little path, other accesses are by stairs) the zone becomes more preserved. There is no longer the road; we only have a pedestrian walk with buildings and it is less frequented in the summer. Going south, we can join the water center (about 500 meters).

This beach is accessible from avenue François I (parking nearby) or by avenue Foch then take a left onto boulevard de la Mer.

We are at the extreme south of the promenade dam near boulevard de la Mer. This part is at the limit with the lifeguarded zone.

South beach in Hardelot and pedestrian promenade

Going toward the north, the beach is very urban with many buildings. In the middle of this photo is the first-aid station.

At the extreme south of boulevard de la Mer, the beach is accessible from a ramp (handicap access).

View on the nautical center from the south beach in Hardelot

To the left, the environment becomes more preserved with a pedestrian walk that is not too close to the road. Note that from here we find rocks on the edge of the beach.
