San Damiano Cove in Algajola is located in the harbour of the seaside resort. This small sandy beach (about 80 meters long) is unfrequented and little known. It’s not the most beautiful but it is peaceful (there were only two people when we were there). It is advisable to wear shoes while swimming. Dogs on leash are allowed.
To get to this cove from the center of Algajola, take the N2197 towards Sant Ambroggio. Turn right towards the marina of San Damianu before the big roundabout leading to the N197 (access restricted from campers). Go past the port and turn left at the end of the street and then immediately left. There are parking spaces.
