The Saint Pierre coves are located north of Ile des Embiez, at the edge of St. Pierre and the island of Petit-Rouveau. They are difficult to access and little frequented. Covered in gravel, they are only reserved for the more athletic. The view is spectacular (especially from the top of the cliffs) and overlooks the bays of Sanary and Bandol as well as the neighbouring mountains. There are also picnic tables at the top of the cliffs.
The easiest way to visit these coves is to turn left after leaving the boat towards the Ricard Oceanographic Institute. There are two bronze cannons on the side of the road upon arrival on the west coast of the island. Access to the creeks is opposite.
