Our opinion on the Rix Beach
The most beautiful coves in Ile des Embiez are located at pointe du Rix. Little known, hidden between two points and below the Tower of the Marina, the gravel beach stretches for about fifty meters. Access is fairly risky and reserved for the more energetic. Once there, only the boats, which come to anchor, will bother you. From the top, the general view of the bay of Sanary sur Mer is beautiful.
To get to this beach from the port of Embiez, go straight ahead, the road leads directly to this cove.

Photos of the Rix Beach
The beach between the points of Rix and Coucoussa below in the Tower of the Marina is beautiful. The view from the cliffs is great.
The Tower of the Marina is on the left, which is a great landmark to find this beach. Access is through the little path at the centre of the photo, very sporty (the trail is in very poor condition and the slope is steep, there are many stones).
The view of the creek overlooking the tip of Coucoussa in the centre, the end of Ile du Gaou and Six Fours in the background is nice.
