Our opinion on the Canouvie Beach
There is a succession of small sandy and pebbly coves northeast of Ile des Embiez and west of the tip of the Canouvié. It is unfrequented (we are on the less touristic side of the island) and bordered by a pleasant pine forest; there are several places where one can swim without any difficulty. The view out of the port of Embiez and of the coast at the port of Brusc is very pleasant. Toilets are available in the port.
To get to these beaches from the port of Embiez, turn left and walk along the docks. At the end, turn left and then take the path leading outside the hotel. The first coves are behind it.

This cove is located just outside the harbour and the least known (as one comes close to the hotel, one does not necessarily go past it).
Cove 2:
This cove is located behind the hotel in the pine forest of Embiez, and the most popular. There is a smaller second one nearby.
This cove has the advantage of being in the shade in summer.
From this creek, the view of the harbour entrance of Embiez is beautiful. Well-preserved environment.
Cove 3:
This third cove is located just above the previous one. Relatively small, it is still very nice.
Cove 4:
There are a few tiny coves wedged between the rocks at the top. Very nice environment but the creeks are small.
