Coucoussa Beach is located at the tip of Coucoussa and the Tower of the Marina in Ile des Embiez (Embiez archipel), and is covered in sand and gravel. It is sheltered by a few pine trees and located in the Strait of Grand Gaou; the environment is completely preserved (there are even vineyards). This is not the best-known beach in the islands but it fills up quickly due to its small size.
To get to this beach from the port of Embiez, turn left at the end of the main path (one must go past the bike rentals). At the end, turn right (the Tower of the Marina is a landmark - by the way, the view of Gaou Beach is nice on the opposite island). The beach below is at the beginning of the coast.
