Our opinion on the Ruet Beach

The westward orientation of Ruet Beach in St Jacut de la Mer, like Vauvert Beach, is an asset. Vast stretches, fine sand, tranquility and dunes give the impression of being at the end of the world ... 1500 m from the city centre. However, the sea comes later than on the other beaches of the peninsula, because it is at the bottom of the bay. It is recommended for lovers of wild beaches, but less for enthusiasts of unlimited swimming. Moreover, the tourist office reports that the shingle beach may be dangerous to swimmers.

To get to this beach from the center of St Jacut, go south by the D62 (in the direction of St Cast and Matignon). Turn right after 800 meters, at the roundabout. There is a car park down the small road.
