Banche Beach in St Jacut de la Mer is oriented west and very enjoyable in the second part of the day. Reduced to almost nothing at high tide, the space available multiplies at low tide. We are not facing offshore but in a cove opposite Saint-Cast. This is the country of farmed mussels. It is very close to the city and the road, but traffic, which is low, is not disturbing.
To get to this beach from the center of St Cast, take rue des Ecluses and Boulevard de la Banche. There are a few places to park nearby.
