Pissotte Beach in St Jacut de la Mer is an east-facing sandy beach pleasant all day, as it is wide and only its rocky edges are in the shade, where one can find some recesses to have a fresh picnic. The proximity of the port of Châtelet can be troublesome or risky because the boats at anchor may hinder the monitoring of swimming children. But this is what makes the charm of the beaches in the port. Good pick.
To reach this beach, take Boulevard du Rougeret (the peninsula’s main road) and turn right on rue des Sciaux (a sign indicates the beach) in the roundabout.
