Pinia Beach in Ghisonaccia is the wildest beach of the seaside resort and of Costa Serena. It borders the forest of Pinia (largest maritime pine forest of Corsica) south of the pond of Urbino. This sandy beach is beautiful and one of the most beautiful in Corsica. Little known, even in summer, one can find a corner away from its nearest neighbours (which is unusual in Corsica!).
To reach Pinia Beach, take the D144 (route de la Mer). 300 meters before reaching the seafront road, turn left (sign indicating the beach car park and the holiday village of Perla di Mare). Continue for 1 km on the road to Pinia. There are places to park in the forest. One can also continue on the tracks to get further north in even wilder areas.
Please note that dogs are allowed on this beach.
