Our opinion on the Padulone Beach
Aleria’s Padulone Beach extends from the southern part of lake Diane to the northern part of lake del Salé. This large Costa Serena sandy beach is divided into two areas which separates near the carpark where there are several restaurants. The northern part (left of the beach huts) is the untamed area which extends to Mare e Stagnu Beach which borders a pleasant forest and bushes. The southern part (right of the beach huts) is busy because of the large campsite. In the centre, there are beach huts. Dogs on a leash are allowed on this beach.
After the centre of Aleria, head north on the N198 for 1 km then turn right after the bridge in the area of Caterragio on the N200 (signposted sea). Follow the road for 3 km, there is a carpark near the beach.

We are on the right area, opposite the tennis courts. This part is quite large but the beach narrows rapidly on the south side opposite the campsite then becomes wider before the lake del Salé.
In the centre of the beach (at the carpark), there are several beach huts.
It is also possible to practice beach volleyball or rent kayaks.
On the left side, there is an untamed beach that stretches to the Diane Beach.
Near the beach carpark and next to the restaurants.
