Phare Beach in Fos sur Mer is located near the marina at the foot of the lighthouse of Fos sur Mer. It is the smallest beach in Fos, it offers about 100 meters of sand (with a few pebbles). It is relatively well protected thanks to the presence of two dams.
Alas, as it is often the case in Fos sur Mer, the view is not the most pleasant on this side because of the methane facility. The port of St. Louis is located opposite, with its famous wild beach of Napoleon stretching for several kilometres.
A big car park is available nearby (next to the harbour). Toilets are also available in front of the beach next to the car park.
