Minelli Beach (also known as Toga Beach because it is next to the port of the same name) is the first beach north of Bastia. It is located in Minelli at Villa Ker Maria (visible from the road with its salmon front and surrounding palm trees). There are two pebble beaches and a small creek. They are best known by the townsfolk who come here to find some peace and quiet (family-oriented, people often come here to learn to swim) just 2 km away from the centre of Bastia.
To get to this beach from the centre of Bastia, take the direction of Cap Corse on the D80A. Pass Toga harbour; the beach is located 150 meters after it (sign indicating access to the sea on the right before the gas station). However, it is very difficult to park (car park on Toga harbour).
