Grande Plage in Châtelaillon-Plage - France

Here is a view of the Large Beach from north to south.We are at low tide, the sea retreats far away during the impossible swim.

We are in the center of this beach of Châtelaillon near the first aid station (at the level of Charles Brissaud street).

This large beach stretches over 2 km.The end is reserved for sailing and windsurfing (around the harbor).

There are some bath cabins for rent on this beach in the center of Châtelaillon.

Here is the seafront promenade of Châtelaillon going towards Fouras.

On the right we have the restaurant of the casino of Châtelaillon and on the left the Large Beach.Many restaurants in this area, including one on the beach.

South side, the beach is wilder. The road disappears to give way to some nice houses on the beach. It stops at the port level.

From south to north, the beach seems infinite.

At low tide, swimming is unfortunately impossible.

Some beautiful villas line the seafront of Châtelaillon.
