Our opinion on the Fontaulé Beach
Banyuls sur Mer Fontaule Beach is located in the centre of the resort near the port (left). This great beach stretches for about 350 meters. On the right side, there are games for the children and a sailing centre. With its mixture of gravel and pebbles, the left is more popular because the area is completely reserved for swimming. The waves are bigger in this part. Nearby, there are numerous restaurants and bars.
The beach is locatedin Banyuls, just before arriving at the port from Port-Vendres (D914). There are some parking spaces along the road (Avenue de la Republique – pay and stay) but it is very difficult to park in the summer season.
