Hermanville beach extends on 2 km between Lion sur Mer and Colleville-Montgomery. It has two first aid stations (opened in July and August -one on the place Courbet and the other on the place of the third British Infantry Divison). The environment is very pleasant with nice villas on the seafront (the majority of the seafront is pedestrian). Attendance is quite important in summer and during weekends (we are on one of the nearest beache of Caen) but we find without any problem a place on the sand to put our towel.
Several parkings are available on streets perpendicular to the sea (see the map).
