Pouliguen’s Convert Beach is on the Coast Sauvage near Penchâteau Point. This beach, or big sandy cove, is still very nice because it is away from the road to Batz sur Mer (one-way road). However, at low tide, there are many rocks which makes swimming difficult.
To go to this beach from the centre of Pouliguen, head for Batz-sur-Mer by the seaside (Boulevard Labego). 500 metres after the point, the road goes away from the coastline for about 100 metres. The beach is located behind the houses (access via the coastal footpath). Please note, parking is very difficult, it is advisable to come by bike (cycling lane).
