The central beach of Saint Côme de Fresné is part of the popular beaches around of Arromanches les Bains (that of the latter is not the most pleasant one). It is vaste and wide at low tide and has a first aid station (opened in summer). It is one of the beach of the Landing of June 6, 1944 (sector Gold Beach), sector of the British. It offers a nice view on the artificial port and on the cliffs to the west. East, we can join the beach of Asnelles.
The beach is located in a residential district with many secondary and holiday houses (many mobile homes). It is family.
